Joseph Arch - A little history
He was born in Barford on 10th November 1826. In 1872, the National Agricultural Labourers Union was established and Joseph Arch was elected as its full-time president. The Joseph Arch Inn was named in honour of one of Barford's most famous residents.
From junction 15 of the M40 take the A429 towards Stow. After 1 mile turn left into Barford village and the Joseph Arch is on Bridge Street about 1/4 mile on the right hand side.
